Daily Hacks While @ Home During Covid-19

It's been almost a month since my last sharing. There were a lot of happenings during this period. With the pandemic of Covid -19 and the issue of the decree of Work from Home means adjustments need to be arranged. These and other things such supporting the children with their learning as well as meeting deadlines from the bosses.
I realised that it can be overwhelming with the additional tasks and it seem that it never ends even now that one can do everything from home. I would like to share some daily hacks that you may want to try some.
Plan the day
We all have 24 hours a day. Allocate the number of hours that you want to spend in front of the laptop doing work stuffs. My suggestion would be to spread the workload to a 2 hours space. Share with the kids so not to disturb Mum or Dad for this period and they will get their time. In addition, listen to your favourite tunes while doing your work and have fun with it.
Do a Home Workout
There are loads of workout videos that you can find on Youtube. Or engage an online Coach (I am available) to help you with your daily workout. If you live in an apartment, you can choose to do your daily walks along the corridor, do some stair climbing (start slow) or swim in the pool. For those at houses, wear a mask and start walking early in the morning around the estate. Make it a family workout and video the funny movements and moments.
Clean and Organise Everything
Look at the cupboard in your room, kitchen or storage. Those years of purchases and other stuffs needs either to clean or re-organise. Spend some time to organise those stuffs. If it is not required, throw it away or donate it those who need it most.
Video Chat with Friends and Family
Spend some time to do this everyday. They are in the same boat. Bring joy and laughter to everyone. This will help to keep the sanity in check and what better time to reconnect with your loved ones.
Read a book (Several)
Based on experience, books are wonderful time fillers. Make it a family reading time. The genres are endless. Prepare a cup of hot chocolate, tea or your favourite beverage. Sit near your porch or just your sofa, take out the book and READ.
Cook up a dish that you have not mastered
I have always wanted to do roasted chicken and potatoes. What will be the dish that you want to master?
Busy the mind with a puzzle or play indoor games
Sometimes online games are good but I would suggest to play something which can challenge the intellect. Do a puzzle, play chess with your dad or something that can make the mind busy.
So there you go. Some daily hacks while you are self-quarantine or stay at home. Have fun in whatever you do. Stay safe and be healthy always.
