During this pandemic period, you can see numerous online fitness classes that sprout out like mushrooms after the rain. I am happy to see the classes offered (I certainly hope, you will join mine..hehehe).
All these classes will hold their own unique session and I am sure that all of them have your well-being in the hearts of the instructor, coach or trainer.
While there are numerous classes out there, here are some suggestions that you may want to consider before joining them.
Know your personal and health goals
The online classes that are available are in it for the long run. It may substitute the conventional gyms that will open in the near future. During this pandemic period, it is important to look after your health. Some of my friends shared that they either lose weight or gain weight due to working from home. This could be attributed to long period of hours in front of the screen and this does not include the additional time spend on social media and reading articles and other important news. Perhaps the added stress of meeting deadlines from the bosses could also lead to prolong periods of sitting and increase on the scales. On that note, I would suggest that you need to ask yourself and the goals that you wish to attain. The more specific your goals then the route to finding solutions to it will be easier to certain extent.

Enjoy the varied classes
I am sure that you can find the varied online classes that is tailor made for you. There are the pilates, yoga, barre classes, strength and conditioning, Crossfit and bodyweight training just to name a few classes. My suggestion would be to pick a class that can help you to achieve your health goals but also join a class that encourages flexibility as these are essential skills you will need to face during this period of uncertainty. The combination between high and low impact classes will help shape the body's reactions in facing daily challenges. This can still be applied to your daily life when everything returns back to normal.
Be light, open and patient
These are online classes and even though the instructors or coaches will try their best to maintain a strong internet connection throughout their classes, expect some occasional internet connection disruptions. No need to go overboard with your 'feedback' about their services. Sometimes, there are things that are out of your control so it's important that each class is treated as a blessing in which both you and the coach are doing what you both enjoy. My suggestion is not to leave the class until the coach says that the class is over. Send a PM to offer feedback or online if the coach is open to it.

Ready the equipment (if you have) and water
Some of the classes require you to have some equipment such as yoga mats, weights or kettlebells among others. If you don't have either, ask the coach or instructor for good alternatives that you can use. Prepare the equipment at least 15 - 20 minutes before the class and make sure that your laptop or cellphone is fully charged to last the entire class. The classes may consist of up to 10 to 15 other participants so please show respect to others. Please ensure that you have your water bottle ready too. This would also mean that you know your limits. If you are unable to keep up with the exercises, it is alright to stop and resume once again.
As mentioned, enjoy the classes available, Nothing is impossible, Keep in mind the suggestions that I shared and have FUN in whatever you do.
